At Northwestern Lehigh Middle School, we take great pride in our school community and the people who make it such a special place. Our mission is to create a student-centered, purposeful, and collaborative learning environment where every child is supported, challenged, and inspired. We strive to provide an exceptional educational experience that engages students, families, and the entire Northwestern Lehigh community.
We believe in educating the whole child, not just academically but socially and emotionally. This commitment is reflected in our school-wide positive behavior program, P.R.I.D.E., which stands for:
- Positive Attitude
- Respectful Behavior
- Individual Accountability
- Dedicated Learners
- Equals Success
Since 1992, Northwestern Lehigh Middle School has been dedicated to serving students in grades 6, 7, and 8, with an average enrollment of 450 students. Our well-rounded curriculum includes core subjects—Math, Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts—along with enriching Related Arts courses such as Art, Music, Family and Consumer Science, Technology Education, Health, and Physical Education. We also offer Tiger Period, an Enrichment and Intervention block designed to provide targeted support and challenge students in their areas of strength or need.
A strong team approach in our core subjects fosters collaboration among teachers, allowing them to plan engaging lessons, support students' social-emotional growth, and provide tailored academic assistance. This team structure ensures that every student feels connected, supported, and prepared for success.
At Northwestern Lehigh Middle School, we believe that education goes beyond the classroom. We are mentors, role models, and coaches who genuinely care about each student as an individual. Our goal is for every child to leave middle school knowing they were valued, heard, and equipped with the skills to succeed.
We are more than just a school—we are a community where students are excited to learn, parents feel confident sending their children, and teachers love to teach.
Welcome to Northwestern Lehigh Middle School—where learning is engaging, meaningful, and built for success!
